Principles in Nature

This is a gathering of principles governing the operation of etheric energy. They are presented here as principles because they are thought to be fundamentals. If they correctly represent the nature of reality, then understanding them may facilitate further study in this field.

All should be considered theoretical.

Behaviors

Principle of Expectation: When working with etheric energy, the expectation of the practitioner/witness defines the experience. An important caveat to this is that the experience occurs independently of the practitioner/witness. Using energy healing as an example. If the practitioner is trained to expect to find "thick" areas in the sitter's biofield, then that is how he or she will experience irregularities. At the same time, a person trained to sense differences in heat will detect the same irregularity as a marked temperature change--the influence is real enough, but how it is experienced depends on worldview.

Trans-etheric influences depend on physical process

Principle of A second principle is that trans-etheric influences depend on physical process to propagate in the physical and etheric processes to propagate in the etheric. (We are looking for the transition point, by the way.) In other words, something does not magically happen or "somehow" happen.

Principle of Differentiation: An aspect of reality is created by an act of differentiating available energy into a subset of characteristics. This local reality, then, is formed of a greater aspect of reality, inherits characteristics of that greater aspect, but has unique characteristics which are a product of the vision and intention of the creator entity. This principle holds that reality is based on a first cause, but that individual self-determination has resulted in many unique venues for learning, all inheriting characteristics which depend on their line of aspectation from the first cause.

Principle of Agreement: Self is an energetic entity, and that the nature of this energy is dependent on Self's understanding of the operation of reality. In other words, the more mature the entity, the more control it has over its energetic nature. Aspects of reality have unique energy characteristics, meaning that Self is able to inhabit an aspect of reality if it is energetically in agreement with it. For Self to exist in the physical, it must become energetically in agreement with it, which it does by "donning" a physical body.

Corollary: An important result of the Principle of Agreement is that trans-etheric influences depend on physical processes to propagate in the physical and etheric processes to propagate in the etheric. There will be some form of transition of interface, perhaps like air to water, but more likely a "change in mind."

Principle of Continuity: Reality is continuous, meaning that there are no breaks or discontinuities. There is one reality, but there are many aspects of reality within that one reality. Each aspect is related to the others in that they all inherit basic characteristics form the one reality, but are different according to how that one reality is understood.

As such, it is reasonable to speculate about the nature of different aspects of reality based on the nature of what is understood in the physical. For instance, energy in the etheric is thought to exist as a non-scalar field (no direction of propagation; not a wave or ray) but it is also a precursor to electromagnetic energy. A fundamental characteristic of electromagnetic energy is that it exists as a continuum of changing characteristics (the electromagnetic spectrum), all related by common traits of vibration, direction of propagation and such. It may be reasonable to speculate that etheric energy also has a spectrum of characteristics related by common traits.
