The Public is Invited to Participate in the

Information Gathering Using EVPmaker with Allophones

The participant with the first winning entry for each month, that the listening panel agrees with, will receive $25 US. The participant with the first winning entry ever will receive a free annual ATransC membership. This along with publication in the ATransC NewsJournal, the final research report and on the website. Of course, all winning participants will earn bragging rights for the rest of their lives.

This study involves the use of a computer program acting on a sound file that contains computer generated human voice sounds. With this technique, there is no question of stray radio signals or pre-recorded live voice being mistaken as EVP. A panel of volunteers who do not know the target or what is supposed to be said in the example will determine what words, if any, are in the submitted recordings. Since you, the participant, do not know what the target object is, it is reasonable to argue that a recorded message containing the name of the object must have a paranormal origin.

This is a very important study that will help establish a foundation of understanding which will eventually lead to its study by mainstream science. It will also function as a proof of concept for the Transcom Digital Platform. Your participation is needed for its success. Please feel free to contact us if you have questions

An ordered, well-considered approach to quantifying and codifying transcommunication is essential to transform the study of these phenomena from a frontier science to a mainstream science. This will not occur without the development of a culture amongst interested people that makes collaboration, strict adherence to practices of "good science" and the application of due diligence in research the norm. Association TransCommunication is dedicated to supporting the community effort to establish such a culture, and has taken the following initiatives:

Sarah Estep Research Fund

The Sarah Estep Research Fund (SERF) was established to fund targeted research that will further the understanding of these phenomena. Both responses to request for research proposals and unsolicited research proposals will be considered. Applicants need not be ATransC members.

Research Grant

The Windbridge Institute for Applied Research in Human Potential has been awarded a grant to conduct the study:

Real-time EVP Conversations: A Pilot Study

A final report is scheduled to be submitted to a peer-reviewed journal 4Q09. Update January 2010: ATransC received a final report but is waiting for Windbridge to publish the report.

4Cell EVP Demonstration

4 person groups following a double-blind protocol to use EVP to acquire information. Over 60% hit rate.

Online Listening tests

Fully blind tests for website visitors to report what they hear in examples of EVP. On average, 25.2% of words were correctly identified by visitors with 510 participants.

It is important to recognize that there are a few researchers in the world who have actually received research grants, and who share the goals and objectives of the Association. Amongst these are Sonia Rinaldi, Alexander MacRae, Anabela Cardoso and David Fontana and the members of Interdisciplinary Laboratory For Biopsychocybernetics Research (IL Laboratorio). We with ATransC are proud to be able to join the ranks of those who are willing and able to support further research.
