This is a brand new board and you should expect a few ... confusions as we all get used to the new digs. We are still tweaking the configuration and your comments and suggestions are really welcome. It is especially important for you to let us know if you find any errors or malfunctions.
As with the old board, this is supposed to be a private board, but to let the world know we are here, the public will be able to see the categories and forum titles but they will not be able to read the posts. If you find this not to be true, then let us know right away. There must be a thousand settings to take care of.
You can post pictures in the gallery. Play with the options a little to see how to use it. I am new as well, so you may need to teach me.
The chat tool is open to everyone, but the blog is restricted for now to the admin people so that we can see how it works.
You will notice a “Collaboration on Articles” section. It will be set aside for peer-review of articles and you will see the occasional invited Collaborator post there. You are welcome to join in but contact us for access.
We have made this change with the hope that you will be more able to develop a sense of community. We think it will also be a much better learning/teaching tool. One really big feature is that we will be able to keep posts a lot longer. Even so, please try to limit the size of files to be "Internet friendly."
